Our mission

At Five Stars, we want to drive a level of engagement and interaction between customers and businesses that was never possible before. Whether it be through customer loyalty, VIP treatment, or social interaction, our technology platform enables us to leverage an interaction channel that will make customers happier and businesses more profitable.

About Us

Five Stars was born in December, 2010. Since then, we've raised funding from first tier venture capital firms and some very prominent angels. We're growing insanely fast (35% increase in users in the last week, 120% increase in clients in the last month). We have some incredibly challenging technology problems that bridge the retail business world and the digital world. And best of all, we have an amazingly driven, talented, and fun team. We've got a PhD in string theory, a Kiva Fellow, and everyone in between. We work hard and play hard. We've got a very spacey office in Mountain View, CA located next to an In'n'out, Chipotle, and yummy ramen.

  Five Stars is taking loyalty digital! We take all your paper stamp cards and turn them into a universal card, that lets businesses communicate with their loyal customers! We have gained significant traction in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, with our growing team, and are looking to expand nationally in the near future. We are seeking high energy, fast-paced, rockstar Sales Representatives, who wants to grow with the Five Stars team!

  The selected candidates are proactive sales professionals, who wants to join a dynamic and growing company. The hired individuals will gain new business through cold-calling and meeting with customers. The selected candidates will identify and analyze customer needs, and utilize solution-based selling techniques, to demonstrate the value of FiveStars services. The selected candidate will sell to multiple accounts, develop and present proposals, that convey business needs and client benefits.

The individual will sell services to gain new business through existing relationships, cold-calling, networking, generating leads and referrals, and meeting with customers. The selected candidate will be able to identify and analyze customer needs, and utilize solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of FiveStars services. The selected candidate will sell to multiple large accounts, develop and present proposals, which convey business needs and client benefits.

  + Bachelor's degree
  + 3+ years of enterprise, multi-local, national chain, large account experience in the restaurant and/or retail industries
  + Has a “rolodex” of contacts in the retail and restaurant chain industry
  + Prior outside sales experience, with demonstrated history of sales achievements, in a commissioned environment
  + Demonstrable success in launching and establishing long term, relationships with clients and partners
  + Proven ability to research and truly understand competitor strengths and weaknesses while effectively articulating FiveStars competitive advantage
